BACKGROUND
Lauren began teaching at WLC in the fall of 2019 as an adjunct instructor until her call as a full-time lecturer in the fall of 2023. She grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and attended St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul, where she participated in soccer, choir, drama, and student council. She now lives on the south side of Milwaukee with her husband and four school-aged children. She is regularly involved in ministry where her husband serves as the bilingual pastor at St. Peter Lutheran Church/Iglesia Luterana San Pedro in Milwaukee.

Lauren enjoys the study of linguistics, especially the evolution of language.
